FSMTA State Honors!!!

I can not say enough how proud I am of Elizabeth, Gabriel, and Madoc for doing such a phenomenal job in preparing for and testing at FSMTA Student Day! The all finished with flying colors and earned State Honors, the highest level of achievement, in their respective levels.

Each student was tested on their understanding and ability in music theory, aural skills, and keyboard skills. They also had to perform from memory three pieces and answer questions about each piece they played from memory.

Madoc, Elizabeth, and Gabriel all grew so much during the time that they prepared for this test and I am just bursting with pride for each of them. Great JOB, y'all!!!
