Bravo to these three talented musicians! Miss Kinsey, Miss Amaela and Miss Reagan knocked it out of the park and represented our studio with grace, poise, and professionalism. I am so proud of their performances and grateful to be their teacher.

Once again, you have all done a fabulous job and kept the studio average notes per minute to a whopping 34! Great job students! I am so proud of you all and loved seeing each of your enthusiasm and desire to grow and improve. Keep it up!

This year, while at the FSMTA State Conference, I had the honor to represent our District, District 5 and perform Caro Nome, from Rigoletto by Giuseppi Verdi. I made a few mistakes here and there, but that is all part of performance. "Just keep on singing, keep on singing."

This past weekend, I was at the FSMTA State Conference and it was absolutely amazing! FSMTA is Florida State's division of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) which is the largest and oldest music organization in USA. I heard several wonderful and informative presentations in addition to watching Dr. Peter Mack give a Masterclass to three talented students. Miss Kinsey filled the studio with her beautiful lyric soprano voice and floated on top of the melody line. Singing "Sweet the Evening Air of May", an old english folksong, she absolutely nailed each note and the difficult jumps in the melody line through regular and diligent practice. Miss Kinsey will be one of our representative students at the VCMTA County recital this coming Fall and we all look forward to seeing her continued growth as a musician and vocalist.
