"Name That Note" Oh My!

Every Term, I test my students on both their note name recognition and speed. This test motivates students to memorize note names and recite them quickly, while making it a fun competition between other students and themselves.   The "Name that Note!" test gives  students an objective way to see his or her progress by moving up in their belt level and/or increasing in note recognition speed. 

The Last five terms, student's average note per minute speed was roughly 32 notes. BUT this past Summer term, the students have raised our average note per minute speed to a whopping 38!! And look at all of those Black belts too!

I am so proud of each student and I love seeing the growth in each one of you.
