Student Spotlight

Student Spotlight! Miss Elizabeth began taking piano lessons with me a little over a year ago and has always been such a joy to work with.

During the summer break, Elizabeth, has been averaging over 5 1/2 hours of practice a week and over the last four weeks she has practiced a total of 22 hours and 48 minutes! She is one of my youngest students and has been regularly placing in the top five out of 31 participating students in the Summer Practice Competition.

Elizabeth’s attention to detail, applying what I teach her, and dedicated practice is evident in her musicality and performance results. Here is one piece that I assigned to her, “Romance” by Heinrich Wohlfahrt.
