Tennessee State Winning Composer!!

Congrats to Miss Molly for being the winner for the Junior division in the Music Teachers National Association composition competition for Tennessee State!

Miss Molly is a very talented and driven piano student of a colleague of mine, Mrs. Morgan, and she joined my Composition class this past Summer. I was immediately impressed by not only her musical creativity but also her notation and theory skills as a composition student. Miss Molly is an absolute joy to work with and I am so proud of her. She wrote a wonderful piano composition this summer called, "Childish" and this was her winning piece for the Tennessee State Competition.

She will now go onto the Regional division for the Composition Competition with MTNA and we'll find out the results in mid December. We are all rooting for you, Miss Molly. I joyfully look forward to working with you more in the future and hearing more compositions that you write. Keep up the amazing work, Miss Molly!
