The Cutest!

Our studio's youngest student, my son, Sage, who is currently four years old, is hard at work with his Music Theory homework. I'm so proud of his hard work; I'm proud of all of my student's hard work.

There have been times when a student or parent has asked me why I make such an emphasis on studying Music Theory. My answer is simple; music is a living international language that spans over hundreds of years. I don't want any of my students to merely copy and imitate what other composers have written. I want all of my students to understand the language of music and come to a deeper appreciation for the music language.
