When Improvisation meets Curiosity

I gave one of my students, Isaiah, the challenge to take a piano piece that he finished studying (which is featured in the first part of the video) and make an arrangement on it to make it his own, i.e. change the rhythm, add some grace notes, put in a few chords etc. I am so proud of how well he took up the challenge and created this outstanding arrangement! Do yourself a favor, and watch the video all the way to the end; I promise that you’ll absolutely love it! 

Very well done, Isaiah! I’m so proud of you, the musician that you are growing up to be, your diligence in practicing, your joy for music, and sharing your passion and talent with others!
